About
Howdy. I'm Brandon.
I'm Brandon, an Austin-based professional photographer focusing primarily on weddings, events, and sports, but open to all kinds of capturing.
I have a degree in graphic design, and have work experience in advertising agencies previously. I had a lengthy career of approximately 20 years writing code in the tech industry, and am now focusing primarily on my photography career.

Questions
What kind of photos do you capture?
I capture a little of everything. I started primarily in sports photography, but have since transitioned to wedding and engagement photography as my primary focus, while still shooting a wide-array of genres.
Have an idea you want to capture, send a message and let's work on creating something awesome.
Where do you work?
I'm based in Austin, Texas and do most of my work in the big triangle of Texas between DFW, Houston and San Antonio. I love to travel and am willing to do so for the right price or project, though. Let's talk about your ideas.
What is your education?
I earned a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Central Oklahoma. I have worked in advertising agencies, startups, and large tech companies during my career, most of which has been as a software engineer.
What equipment are you working with?
I shoot a variety of gear. I use Canon camera bodies; a Canon EOS R5, EOS R6, a 1Dx and an EOS R. I also have a C100 cinema camera for select video projects. I use fast zooms (24-70mm & 70-200mm f/2.8) as standard lenses for most shoots, but also use a variety of primes, including a 400mm f/2.8 behemoth, 50mm f/1.2, 40mm f/2.8, 135mm f/2.0, and 14mm f/1.8 (among other lenses) for more specialized work and experimentation.
For lighting, I own a dual 400W mobile light setup, as well as a few smaller speedlight flashes. In this setup, I can support large cloth or paper roll backgrounds.
I also own a set of PocketWizard's, which allow me to use a remote-camera setup.
